Then on the next day, there were any receptionists speaking English, wrong direction was given to me when I asked for going to a seafood place. But they were nice. "Great access to the covered street restaurants amd shopping, through to the canal, old town and the shrines. The onsen was fabulous, so too was the breakfast and the view from the breakfast room. Kurashiki is a very pretty town, with some lovely old buildings and for us, it was great that there weren't many tourists. "
