"The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated and dog friendly which was wonderful. It had all the comforts that we needed. If you are looking for a view, this won’t be the place for you. We went in the fall and were surrounded by trees, so watching the leaves fall was lovely. The only challenge we experienced were the directions that were sent to us after we booked the accommodation. The directions were in French (which makes sense as we’re in Quebec!) but I had difficulty translating...

"Arriving at the parking lot (excellent map provided us with directions was e-mailed prior to our holiday), we found wagons for taking our luggage to our cabin which were most appreciated as it is bit of a hike into the forest. The cabin was clean and for the most part well equipped. We were unfamiliar with how to use a French press for our morning coffee and with no instructions we were not particularly impressed. Perhaps a kettle or camp-style coffee perk could be added to the otherwise...

The directions were in French (which makes sense as we’re in Quebec!) but I had difficulty translating them in google translate, due to the limited cell service in that area. So perhaps having the directions in both languages would be helpful. Other than that, our stay was lovely. "
