"Staff on reception and in breakfast room so helpful and attentive despite some not speaking much or any English. Young girl cooking noodles and eggs at breakfast was v busy and clearly proud of her cooking. Very kind and attentive Young lady on reception who spoke English helped book rice terraces and river trips and wasn't pushy. Staff member took us to bus meet point and waited with us until bus turned up when it was v late after flooding from severe thunderstorm Nice room with bath on terrace...

"Wasn't expect the interior was so good when I arrived outside the hotel. Had two meals in the hotel, and it has home taste especially the beer fish. Very tasty, but it's a bit oily to me. Very comfortable and staff are very helpful. Made the use of the washing machine, they even had dryer which is useful. "

"Very tranquil location by the lake, great break from the stress of the city. Can go hiking up the mountain or biking along the river. Hotel will lend the bike for free. Warm and accommodating staff. Best to get a lake view room. Classic decor. Rooms are clean too. Three floors no elevator.
