"Great location, really lovely staff and alright breakfast and swimming facilities (pool and hot tub), but the price is reflective of quality. Particularly the showers (both in the room and in the pool changing areas), and the bathroom in the room does show signs of age. This didn't ruin the trip though, and the location more than makes up for it!"

Nice little touch was a research area with comfortable chairs and leaflets , about the local area, to go through. Beer garden is a great place to relax. Would definitely be happy to return"

"We regularly eat at The Bear, as we love the food, but this was our first time to stay. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. As always, the service in the restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious. Our waiter, Hi-Man was most attentive. "

"The Celyn is located in an outstanding rural position. From the moment you arrive Sarah and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was good sized, clean with outstanding views over the farm. The sheep and lambs were in the field in front and it was nice to see them. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. "the property is well maintained and has all you need"

"A great hotel in a lovely village, with mountain views and river walks. Beautiful decor, nice sunny courtyard for drinks, and the bar is not overpriced. Staff were very busy on arrival, but still attentive and efficient. They work hard and it shows, immaculately clean with great service. Breakfast is fab too. Would stay again if we are in the area."
