"The Scot was very clean and convenient. The rooms were on the third level making it very hard for my mother to climb four levels of steps. The rooms are very warm, we could open the windows but it was very loud so we closed them. We didn’t find the fan until the morning we were checking out. Nice and comfortable though. "

"Oban is a beautiful town on the water, with a variety of options for dining and shopping. The hotel is centrally located, in a safe area, the rooms are quite large and it was very quiet at night. No parking on premises but that is the case with most hotels in Oban. Plenty of car parks, though, located near the hotel."

"We were going to a wedding nearby,we contacted the hotel to see if we could check in early so we could get ready as we traveled a distance, the staff could not be more helpful,they had the rooms ready for us perfect, lovely staff and a lovely hotel.will definitely visit again."

"My husband and I were in Scotland for 10 days and stayed at 6 different hotel locations from moving around a lot to see the country. The Creggans Inn was easily my favourite! It was a cute, older style Inn directly on the ocean! The only thing I was disappointed with was we only stayed one night. Absolutely beautiful scenery, beautiful garden out front, nice room, and friendly staff who love talking about the history of the place! Great food as well."

"Really lovely place right on Loch Fyne. A lovely walk you can do, off road, that takes you round to the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar. Lovely evening meal and breakfast Really friendly staff Gave a four not a five as no hot water from the bathroom sink tap but shower was lovely and hot"

"Staying in an historic hotel with décor to match is very romantic. The rooms were a bit cold - but the extra heaters were a blessing. Wish we could have been seated in the older section of the dining area to maintain the ambience of the evening with my husband."

"Coming up by train, it was a convenient and luxury base camp for the Ben Cruachan circuit, if a short walk along the road doesn't bother you. Lovely garden and river. Very nice staff and food."
