"The place is good. And there is a shuttle to the abbey. But don't forget to get your access code. If you come late by car you won't be able to get in without a code. I got someone on the phone after 5 tries, but you shouldn't take that risk."

"The breakfast was very good, if expensive (welcome to France). After multiple trips to breakfast restaurants to eat bread and coffee, having eggs and bacon was a real treat. Yes I am from Canada. Shower was new and relatively roomy. Small room, but well layed out, and we enjoyed 2 twin beds."

"Did not realize the history of this building. It makes it unique. Plus the location to several eateries and the available free parking. Hard to find anything really wrong. Quiet and not so far from Mt St Michel. Great price. Would stay again. "

"This hotel does what is says on the tin. No bar or restaurant but a nice area to take your own food or drink and socialise. An extremely friendly, helpful and efficient reception lady who appeared to bend over backwards to ensure everyone was happy & everything was absolutely spotlessly clean "

"The price was good and we stayed one night so we could visit Mont Saint Michele, it is about 25 minutes away by car. Note that the town of Pontorson shuts down early. We could not find a restaurant open on a Friday night stay, no fault of the hotel."

"We were there for a week half board. On checking in we were asked about any food issues and the menu reflected the wish for no mussels. Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented, including the Monday "tray meal". All the waiting staff and room cleaners were very polite and efficient. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and both spoke excellent English. The car was accommodated in their gated parking area with a clear sign indicating our slot.
