"Overall, I had a quick but lovely stay for work. I had a slightly late check-in at 6:15pm, which hadn’t been pre-arranged, and unfortunately found it quite difficult to get hold of a staff member as reception was unattended. "We booked through Expedia it said standard room but not that we had the mini standard room that wasn't part of the main motel units more like a sleepout on the end of the office. It was really small, no heating or fan in the bathroom, the water pressure was terrible, the bed and pillows old and uncomfortable and there was a noise most of the night that sounded like a washing machine or water running. I'll never book with Trivago, Expedia or the Conmadore Motel again."

Bring extra toilet paper and dishwasher powder if you are staying more than a couple of days as only 3 loo rolls and a small amount of powder is supplied and not replaced during your stay. Shackleton restaurant had excellent staff and nice food but wouldn’t go there again unless they can fix the smoke coming into the restaurant from the fire place. We felt like we had smoked a packet of cigarettes, our clothes smelled and eyes burned. Felt sorry...
"Lovely old homestead set in beautiful grounds. Huge bedroom with a great ensuite. Breakfast was fit for a King - too much choice if anything! Lovely welcoming hosts with a family connection to the property makes for a real home stay. They welcome you into their home and share it with you. A pleasure and a privilege to stay here."
