"We recently stayed at Hotel Scandic in Halmstad, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The staff were exceptionally professional and friendly, especially the lady who checked us in — she was super welcoming and made us feel right at home. The service was great, but the room we stayed in could use a little renovation and updated furniture. "On Google earth this hotel looked like a lorry driver's stopover, and I was a bit concerned what it might be like. However it proved to be good value for money, with thoughtful little extras that you normally don't get for the price. "
