"Cheapest place to stay in Oxford, I only really needed a hotel to get ready in and sleep. The initial room they tried to give us was in a different building, and it was literally just a bedroom in someone’s grotty house - stank of smoke and not safe! Do not book the room with the shared bathroom. The room we moved to was acceptable given the cost (albeit incredibly dated and dirty), but that is about it."

"Perfectly acceptable no-contact lodgings for the price, with the benefit of walkability to central Oxford (if you're a good walker). The management was accessible by phone. The procedure for accessing the building and the room (once you are present on the site of the hotel) was clear. Two small suggestions: (1) stop relying on the app to verify identity, as not everyone has a phone that it works on. (2) if you tell guests the kitchen has coffee making facilities etc., make sure the kitchen...

"Perfect location when wanting to utilise soho farmhouse. Even though the rooms are super outdated in terms of the design, hairdryer and iron, they are very spacious and provide a good nights rest - the bath is a plus also! We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of choice at breakfast, better than some hotel chains.. however the omelette was grey and questionable. Will definitely be staying again! "

"Lovely room, comfy bed and lovely staff. The pub is no longer open so no food or drink available. Communal areas a bit tired, but lovely dining room for continental breakfast. I took a picnic that I had in the lovely courtyard at I read from reviews the pub part is shut. Very handy for motorways and Bicester Shopping Village."
