"At first we were slightly disappointed at how small our room was, but it actually had everything we needed. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. I hadn't checked if there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and there wasn't, but drinks could be bought in reception for a small price if required. The room was spotless, except for the floor, which was a bit grubby. Our sink was blocked, but when we reported it at reception, it was promptly fixed. The continental breakfast...

"Dakota Eurocentral is really impressive. The entrance, dark and through curtains, is a bit strange but it really is fabulous. The room very clean and bed comfortable. The bar and restaurant have excellent choices, but could do with more price options for breakfast, and the dark reception area? Well you get used to that as a great place to have a drink. Food in the restaurant was outstanding. Would definitely recommend, particularly for the price."

"As long as it has a bed and 4 walls... I'm happy. Room was clean.... Small but I was happy with it. The only disappointment was there was no kettle(teabags,milk etc) in the room. I had a double bed, with 2 pillows. The Pillows were thin. Could of done with another 2 pillows. But other than that, it's plain and simple. "

"Great location for getting to Murrayfield. Helpful and friendly staff. Amazingly we didn’t hear the wedding parties in full swing both nights we were there (my heart sank initially when I saw them). Rooms were nice and clean although could’ve done with some extra deep hoovering at the carpet edges next to wall. Would recommend. Particularly the staff. They were great. "

"Although the outside of the hotel was very unappealing and quite difficult to find it did exactly what it said on the tin. It was a budget hotel just to put my head down without spending a fortune. The only problem was any time the neighbouring room flushed there loo it sounded like a bulldozer was coming through the wall which made it very difficult to sleep through. The room is small but basic and the bed was very comfortable. "

"Stay was fine here. Hotel could do with a lick of paint and some modernising of the furniture. Positives: shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Staff were nice and friendly. Plenty of carparking. Negatives: bit dated. Breakfast was ok, buffet style so not amazing. It's a bit of a way out from anything, we caught the train into Glasgow town centre, about 15 minute walk to station. All in all, stay wasn't bad. It was OK. "

"Was staying on my own for 1 night. Only paid about £70 with breakfast. Ended up with the regal suite in the annex building. Well impressed. 4 poster bed (wasted on just me) jacuzzi bath, log fire’ iron and board, robes. Fantastic for the price. "
