"This is a lovely retreat space, a bit off the beaten track. It needs a little upkeep as it is quite old now. But the Fijian staff are wonderful and as it is right next to a fijian village you get to meet many of the villagers who work at the resort. One of the highlights is the coral reef out front. Take a boat out and go snorkelling out on the breakers. You will love it. The ground are well kept and beautiful. "

"Our one bedroom apartment was spacious for two. Amenities (cutlery / crockery) were adequate. The entire facility was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Had a laundry service available (10 F$ for a large load), and provided a rack for drying. The bar and restaurant were good with quite an extensive Indian / Thai menu - enjoyed all meals. Wine store on hand (Indulge), and the Crab Shack is just 10m walk down the road (recommended). Would definitely stay again."

"My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Maui Palms resort. From the check in to check out everyone was very friendly, accommodating and personable. All the amenities are spectacular from the gorgeous pools to the beautiful villa surroundings which we were upgraded into for our anniversary. We are absolutely returning to this resort and strongly recommend a visit. "

"It's a little rustic & basic & not 5 stars in a get back to basics good way. Located on a beautiful private beach & coral lagoon for an easy swim & snorkel 🐠🐡🐚🐟. "The hotel is located over the road from the ocean. However, you can't swim in the ocean due to a very muddy water and could use the pool instead. The staff was nice and room was OK. It was tea/coffee and stove facilities in the room. Bottled water was also provided, which is nice. The only problem is that all rooms are one to another with chairs/tables in front and when occupants of neighbouring rooms just sit there and talk later in the evening, even pretty quite, it is still pretty loud.
