Welcoming and helpful reception staff.
Clean spacious rooms.
Fabulous activities staff, Orni, Tash and team, Big Vinaka.
Wonderful attentive restaurant and bar staff.
Food was good.
It has everything that you need. Has pristine Beach and beautiful coral coast water. Hideaway is simply beautiful. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Fun as well. Evening activities are fun. Happy hour drinks are amazing concocted by amazing bar tenders. Great music to sway away with your loved ones and new resort friends. Easy to get taxi to travel to whereever you want. Local busses are fun to ride as well. Sigatoka town is nearby, a bus ride or taxi ride away. I am planning to go back. It's a beautiful piece of paradise where you can Hideaway.
I loved my stay. Stayed with my family of 6.
Staff were amazing. So friendly. Food was great. Location with great view. Just loved it and highly recommend.
Easy place to relax - welcoming staff, lots of onsite facilities (spa, activities, glass bottom boat trip, restaurant). Very family friendly.

Great activities for the kids.
The entertainment in the evening was great, lots going on.
Staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly.
Apart from the Tandoori Kitchen, only open weekends, the food options for dinner were average. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options, happy with that.
We had a 2-room bungalow with ocean view which was great.
That staff were very sweet, though other than that I did not like the property. The pool would be green sometimes, the food was not the best, there would be bugs in the room sometimes, the property overall was very run down. Traveling as a uni student I would not recommend. Not much to do there. Again, staff were extremely welcoming and sweet though that was about it. Ended up having to leave a day early. Definitely will not be coming back to that resort

Staff were very friendly and helpful, some of the buildings and areas need more up keep.
There was only one TV on the whole resort. You can only get internet at the restaurant or reception. We were in room 80, the outside lights didn’t work. No safe and the front door didn’t lock properly.
Day Spa was amazing!!
Staff amazing real Fiji culture just the best the bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade but on the whole very good trip would recommend

The best part of this resort, and we have been here over 10 times, is the staff; they make you feel like you are family. No other resort gives that feeling.
From the ground staff to the office staff and everyone in between, they are what brings us back.
On this trip, though, we found the drinks to be very dear and the food overpriced, except the Indian dishes, which are superb.
For example, fish and chips are Aus $15.00. Hideaway $32.00
Pizza Aus $8.00; Hideaway $33.00, and so on.
So again, I realise there are a lot of overheads in a resort this size; however, the food is very overpriced, as are the drinks. You pay $12.00 for a cocktail on a cruise.
We love this resort; however, the prices are just too high.
And the souvenir shop is on the same trend; prices up.
The staff are our attraction, as I said, and the view is beautiful.
We loved our stay. We stayed in the ocean view room with the most stunning beach in front of.
Beds are very comfortable. Rooms need a bit of TLC but we concentrated on the positive rather then negative and there is so much positives at this place. Staff are amazing, friendly and welcoming. Plenty of activities, night entertainment. The only problem was that we didn't stay longer

Wonderful beach location.
The bure was spacious, but dated. Staff are lovely and definitely make your stay more special. Be prepared for ‘Fiji time’ as things happen a bit more slowly.
We loved that they partnered with a rescue group to help stray animals in the area.
The property was a little neglected. We had trouble getting ANY towels. No towels in our room and no towels at the pool. We finally got pool towels after about an hour(around 12noon) and used them in the room until we finally got room towels at 7pm.
We ate at the restaurant and the view is beautiful and the food was great.
The bure we stayed in was comfortable.

The staff is very helpful, when you can reach them. Some bookings were a little challenging & additional services a little delayed. We had a lovely time, and would recommend The Hideaway for families. As honeymooners, there were a few too many kids to allow for maximum relaxation. However, overall- a wonderful time was had!

The room is not amazing but the bed was clean and there is everything you need - The only thing I think is missing is a broom as the sand can be annoying.
The staff were amazing! The food was good but definitely need some variety as you kind of get tired of eating the same food.
The resort is a long way from anywhere and the transfers are so expensive roughly 180 to go anywhere. so be a good idea to go here after you have done your excursions.
Pros-
The bures were really spacious and the beds comfy, gardens lush and well maintained. Breakfast had enough choice. Staff were very nice and helpful.
Cons-
The resort is definitely in need of maintenance everything is starting to look like it’s falling apart particularly around the pool restaurant area. We didn’t have a hot shower the whole time we were there. The food was just ok and not many options around.
