"The front desk waited for us until we arrived at 8:00 pm which was very nice of them and we had 2 rooms close to each other. There were a few restaurants and many sports shops a walking distance from the hotel. When we arrived to the second floor with the elevator, we found out that we have another 6-7 stairs to climb with the language to get to the rooms…. The bathroom in one of the rooms was tiny and there was not any body soap or shampoo in both rooms. The worst part was that every 15...

"Friendly and welcoming staff at reception, breakfast and cleaning. Good parking right outside and an easy walk to town and lake. Spacious simple rooms with benefit of firm pillow option. No coffee or even cups in the room, although a little boiled sweet awaited us. Nice to balcony seats. Beware corner room for continuous road noise. "Loved the stay. Apartment was very new and looked exactly like the photographs, with an amazing view of the mountains from the balcony. Owner was very kind as well in letting us check out late with no fuss. Apartment was a short 7min drive to Bad Gastein center. 10/10 would recommend. "

"We drove down to Hochkönig, Salzburg, Austria from the UK in September 2024 while heading back from Croatia and opted to stay here for 2 days. The front desk managed by a lovely gentleman who goes by the name of Hans (hope I’m spelling that right), he was really helpful and kind. I’d highly recommend staying here, the view from our apartment were amazing, the apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. Please be aware there was an 80 Euro cleaning charge added to our stay… but we were aware...

"1. Very nice and helpful staff at the reception. Employees at the restaurant cannot really communicate or answer questions unfortunately (other than the lovely woman in breakfast) 2. Very nice, large, clean, comfortable rooms 3. Food was mostly good, large choice of salads and vegetables 4. The pool is nice BUT slippery and dangerous. It will end badly if not taken care of 5.
