"Pros: Nice property, excellent staff, secure access, easy onsite parking, clean comfortable bed, hot shower, cold air conditioning, and soft towels. Easy access to shops, restaurants, spa and art galleries. Cons: Limited table/counter space made it very difficult to set up the room for my stay. I was constantly needing to move things around to make coffee, charge electronics or eat. Lack of outlets made it difficult to charge electronics. "

"We booked the hotel thinking it is near to both the airport and city. Indeed it is near to the airport but apparently, it is not within the area whereby tour operators will pick you up from. We booked two day tours and found out later they do not pick up from Grandwest. Making our own way to the meeting points is not cheap nor safe either. There is zero shopping in the vicinity. "Staff all very helpful and friendly, remembering breakfast tea preferences without being asked. Lots of advice from front of house and doormen about various places of interest. Room clean, set up as single beds as I was lone traveller, but happy to make it into double as my preference. "Lovely little hotel right where you need to be, clean and spacious and I was upgraded to a horbour view room 👍 I was diving off Simon’s Town and had one night as it was convenient for me due to the location of the dive centre. Loads of shops, bars and restaurants around to fill your boots 😊"
