It’s otherwise a quiet residential area. Our hotel room was spacious but it felt like it had not been used recently. Although cool outside, the room was warm and we could never figure out how to turn on the AC. It was not quite as clean and spotless as other Japanese hotels we’ve stayed in. "

"A small traditional hotel located just few kilometers away from Karuizawa station, outlet mall and ski arena. Both Japanese Tatami and regular beds available. Rooms are very comfortable with very relaxed atmosphere once you enter the hotel. Surely will come back at this reasonable price. "
