"Room was clean although the bed was fairly soft & a little uneven. Unfortunately we were right by the pool with the pool towels (clean & a dirty basket) was by our door so people were often right by our door. Once we returned and a lady was holding a towel up so the other woman could change in front of our door! Talking from those at the pool went right through the window glass. "Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable rooms."

"It’s funky but great to have both AC and a mosquito net. Basic washroom with a cold shower. Sometimes a bit noisy in the morning when all the atv’s and motorcycles start but that’s because the locals are up even earlier getting ready for the day’s tourist expeditions. Close to restaurants and the beach. Would definitely stay again"

"Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge "
