"Such a helpful, friendly and conscientious receptionist(Peter) when i arrived. He also moved me from the small single room I'd booked to a larger room with a double bed and carried my bag to the lift for me. Much appreciated. My only slight negative is that the pillows were very flat and unforgiving. Softer ones would have perfect."

"On arrival, we were met by the receptionist, who was very pleasant and extremely helpful showing us where to store our bikes and making recommendations for local restaurants. Our room was large and well-appointed. The hotel is housed in a large old stone building. Yes, it looks tiring in places but nothing to spoil your stay. Breakfast was good, maybe a better choice of fresh fruit but that is being picky. I will definately be returning to this hotel"

"We had a really lovely stay at The Jubilee Hotel, the hotel was very clean. Very nice room with everything you needed. comfortable bed very happy with the comfort of the accommodation. The breakfast was really good, well cooked with plenty of choice 😋 our party of three all agreed we have never stayed anywhere with such a lovely friendly team of staff, absolutely fantastic, everyone we met that worked there and spoke to in every department were so friendly helpful and kind, 😊we loved it and will definitely be booking to stay again. "The Smugglers Inn was delightful. The staff were all extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food was excellent, we had dinner there which was really good (advise booking it was full when we were there), and breakfast was great. Delicious choice of different fresh croissants, and fruit and cereal options. Full menu with lots to choose from for cooked breakfast, we had the full english which was scrummy and filling. Room was really nicely decorated, and everything you needed. Big tele! Extensive choice of different tea, coffee and hot chocolate options, and cans of water. Really nice toiletries in the bathroom. Great rainfall shower. Only slight negative was that the room was a quite warm after a hot day, even with the window open. Difficult to know what they could do to help with that in such a lovely old building, have a fan maybe? I couldnt take a star off for it though as it was too nice not to be 5 star! Great spot for a rest after a hard day's walking on the stunning jurassic coast."
