"Good points: the location and the parking area, the politeness of the staff. The cleanliness of the room with convenient sockets. I appreciated the fact that at least a few of the staff spoke Welsh (my first language). Bad points: the bed was the most uncomfortable of the 3 hotels in which I stayed this holiday. Perhaps my experience might have been different if I'd paid for a better room. "

"The staff were so friendly! There were able to fit me in for a last minute dinner which was fabulous! They have a nice list of wines and spirits to choose from. I had the special which was wonderful and generous portions. Check in was fast and easy. Absolutely loved my stay!"

"Tudor Lodge is really delightful. The room was clean and well made up, with a very comfy bed. Claire and Steve are absolutely lovely hosts as well. The building is beautifully decorated throughout, and it’s clear there’s a real passion to give their guests a great stay and value for money. Breakfast was delightful too - so much choice! Absolutely recommend, I didn’t get the chance to explore the area much but I noticed how well situated the building is. Wonderful stay, will stay again!"

"Louise was a lovely host, sending us a message before we arrived and welcoming us upon arrival. The property is in a lovely location, just a shame it was cloudy when we were there meaning we couldn’t see the mountains. The room had a private bathroom which was down the hall, but this wasn’t a problem as we had the whole of the upstairs to ourselves. Felt like a kid again running to the bathroom! Lovely breakfast. Would stay again. "

"Beautiful setting. Great hosts. Wonderful hotel dog. Comfortable room. Delicious breakfast whether we choose the included continental or the optional menu order. Mountains all around, river flowing close by with nice path for our evening walk. Village close by for dinner options. Easy drive for hiking from the passes and sightseeing in Caernarfon and Conwy and points between and around."

The bed was the epitome of comfort, guaranteeing a good night's sleep after each exciting day. We'll definitely be coming back. The food was nothing short of amazing, with the Sunday carvery being a highlight – it's a hit with the locals too, so a tip for future guests: make sure to book in advance. "Our overall experience was very good. However on three separate occasions we were awoken by other inconsiderate guests despite the signage asking people to be quiet at certain times. This meant we had to get out of bed in the middle of the night to ask people to be quiet. We understand this isn’t a fault of the hostel but thought we would mention it and suggest maybe a bit more clear signage or make it more clear to people when they check in. Other than this we have no complaints and the place...
