"What a great location for touring Pisa! Just at the entrance of Piazza del Duomo, where it sits on its own little piazza which is full of market stalls and opposite McDonalds.
We arrived by getting the PISAMOVER from the airport, then bus No. +1 from outside the Centrale Station (the bus stop is literally across the road from the hotel).
If you arrive from San Rossore train station, it's a 10 minute walk.
We had a warm welcome at the hotel, we were on the first floor overlooking the piazza...
"Lovely staff always there to help, great breakfast , large selection to choose from, great breakfast staff too, very close to train station and only 20 minute walk to the tower"
"We booked hotel Rex last minute so we could just wake up and hop on the train in Lucca. It had everything we needed but no extras. I would only spend one night here. Breakfast was extremely basic and needed to get better coffee at the cafe across the street. But over all room was clean and quiet."
"The moment we arrived Francesco greeted us warmly. The room was clean, quiet and had a lovely terrace we could enjoy along with onsite parking. The pool while unheated was a great place to relax at. Fabio, the bartender at the bar provide us excellent service and was always working hard. He’s a great representation of what good customer service should be. The breakfast staff at the breakfast buffet also went above and beyond to make sure our coffee orders and food were just right. Thank you to...
"Niemand aanwezig bij aankomst, sleutel lag met een brief waar je naam op stond op de desk.
Het was schoon, maar de bedden waren vreselijk.
De veren staken in je kont.
Ontbijt was minimaal."
