"The York apartment we stayed in was superb. All facilities were wonderful including many tv channels for any downtime you may have. There is also a washing machine easy to operate with detergent provided and a dryer also. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The location is terrific, only a 5 minute walk to the towns Main Street with numerous restaurants in. We had a view of the bay from our lounge window. There are no negatives about this property at all. We loved out 3 day stay...

"The apartment is clean and the beds are comfy. Nice that there's electric blankets on the beds. The gas oven was not something we are used to. A little scary to turn on. It would have been better if there is a dishwasher."

"The Grange on Calgan Farm is placed on beautiful grounds with views over the Kalgan River. It is very quiet and relaxing, however, even though it is advertised as pet and child friendly the host is not particularly friendly towards dogs and children. We had a lovely time in Albany, and spent hardly any time at the Grange, with two adults, two teenage children and a labrador, expecting a dog friendly place, as it was advertised, but did not feel welcome with our dog. "I have been to many beautiful towns in Qld, NSW, Vic, SA and currently on the road trip in WA. Middleton beach was supposed to be a transition stop only, but it became best part of the WA trip so far. It's so calm, peaceful and first time made me feel like I want to live in regional area permanently. I am sure this property contributes 80% of this wonderful experiences. The owners have great taste and I can see lots of efforts from them to make the property so lovable. Thanks for being great...

"The apartment is modern, fresh and clean in a great location near the beach and town. An unexpected bonus provided by the hosts was breakfast cereals, milk, juice etc. and a lovely cheese platter I didn't mind the closeness to the railway tracks (and the occasional passing train) - my husband, however, was not happy about the disturbance to his sleep."
