"A pleasent friendly welcome and service, let down only by one member of staff more interested in hiding with her phone rather than attending to breakfast service. On that day only cold "hot" food ( most dishes missing) no coffee offered, hot water for tea was cold, bread was missing, cereals unfilled. Other days were plentiful and satisfactory."

"It is a nice hotel. Clean, quiet, with good breakfast. However, the shower drain couldn't keep up and kept flooding the bathroom. Also, felt misled about the parking. Free street parking was available overnight and only 2-hour disk parking during the day. "

"A great choice for a single overnight or a multiple night stay! A very nice and well maintained hotel in the Franconian Switzerland. Friendly reception and very nice food service for the evening meal. My single room was very adequate and the WiFi was fast and had a great signal. Plenty of free parking just across the street from the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my very short stay."

"We loved the location of the Hocher Hotel. Checkin is 1:00 and since it is an automated machine it is helpful to wait to arrive at this time or after and checkin would be easy. It is such a wonderful city to visit, sightsee, have incredible German food, walk around and enjoy! The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The owner Mike is a very gracious host of this small hotel. "This was my second extended business stay at Konigsteiner Hof. The owners and staff are friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and private, and the breakfast is lovely. I hope to stay here again in the spring when I return to the area for work!"

Parking was onsite and free which was also a plus. Rooms were about the size of a single dormitory, with a bed, desk, en suite bathroom and small balcony. All in all just what I needed."
