"I was going on a diving trip to Tuba Taha . This property is most convenient go to the pier. Also walkable to the whole array of restaurant located on the promenade. Staff is extremely helpful, wifi is strong and always available. The breakfast items are very scanty. For most westerners breakfast cereals with milk, eggs are a staple.In the protein segment the only option was an unfamiliar sausage,most prblematic was lack of fresh milk for coffee."

" Hotel is going under renovation, i can understand the current appearance of certain parts of the hotel. My room i assume was next. The aircon wouldn't really get cold in the room. My friends in a different room had to wear a sweater because their aircon worked really good. I didn't use the tv. From 200 channels, you received 20-25 channels. "The staff were very friendly, but they do not display the level of service in the restaurant we are accustomed to. For example, they did not clear away dirty dishes during meals & never asked if we wanted anything else. The buffets had limited options & empty dishes were not filled again."

"Room fairly modern for Philippines. We accidentally booked a good location, the Baywalk was just three blocks away. It’s convenient to the airport, and most tour companies will come directly here due to the good location. Close to markets, mall and many stores that are up and down the street in walking distance. "This is an inexpensive hotel so amenities are limited but you do get what you paid for. The staff is very nice, they have a limited food menu but the items are well prepared. The view from the outside dining area is very nice. The rooms are basic but good, bed is comfortable, AC works very well, CR shower is comfortable, water is hot. One problem is the wifi is very weak in the room, but it is strong in the dinning area."

"The service provided by front desk staff, Anthony was superb (5 star treatment). Anthony is a credit to your hotel. We were so warmly welcomed and then offered a local restaurant recommendation and reservation. We had a super early morning flight and a shuttle was no problem and it was only a 5 minute drive. Everything was so clean and lovely. We only wish we could have stayed longer! "

If you prefer to be far from the busy and often loud touristy area south of the airport by the water, then this location may be perfect for you. "We had an outstanding stay at the Hibiscus Garden Hotel. It has a beautiful garden and pool area. Arlene welcomed us us immediately, got help with our (many) bags from scuba diving and booked us transport to the airport. The hotel kept our bags while we were on tour. A very pleasant surprise was the hotel restaurant, which has a big menu. Everything we ate was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel."
