"The hotel is located on a volcano island and has a public bath. Right above the bath entrance it says in english "natural hot spring". However, when my wife and I tried the bath at opening time there was no water flowing in and the water was stagnant and covered with scum and hair. My wife was equally repulsed by the ladies bath. I have been to possibly 100 public baths in Japan over the years and this was the worst I have ever seen. When I asked the management they said they ship in the water...
