"The room was small but the problem with the heat, plus the restaurant was closed however the swimming pool was an extra plus and all the restaurants in the village was closed because of the season. It was a good location for visiting the region."

"Après la surprise d'être hébergés non pas à l'auberge du Cantou mais dans un petit hôtel voisin du même propriétaire, nous avons apprécié cette étape : l'hôtel est vieux mais les chambres sont refaites à neuf. La nôtre était au 2ème étage, accessible par escalier raide en bois, spacieuse, très propre, les sanitaires impeccables et la vue surprenante sur la basilique voisine. Très bon diner typique auvergnat (truffade et Aligot) à l'auberge Cantou... et le lendemain matin, autre belle...

"Room seems to have had recent refurbishment and was clean and comfortable, though not large. Common areas a bit characterless and hotel needs some sort of lounge / bar area in which to relax. Staff helpful and pleasant . Restaurant food on the whole was very good although my steak was the toughest I’ve had in a long time! "

"Family of 4 short stay - we had a lovely 4 days at Le Panorama. The staff were amazing and so helpful. The lounge and dining area are very relaxing and welcoming. The rooms are ok. In need of a little modernizing but were warm and functional. The swimming pool was at the end of a strange spiral staircase but the water was warm and good after skiing. Good location with easy access to town."

"The hotel section (there's a connected restaurant across the road) was tidy, modern, warm and well decorated. We had booked a 'mountain view' room, but were given a lake view room at no extra cost, and which saved us an extra flight of stairs to carry bags. The manager, who greeted us, was very friendly, helpful, and even insisted on helping us with one of our bags going upstairs. We ate a couple of times in the restaurant opposite that's associated with the hotel. Food was excellent both...

"This hotel was not a planned destination but we're glad we wound there. The room was large and very comfortable. Good bathroom. Not marble upscale, but clean and comfortable. The restaurant was quite good and fairly priced. Even the wines. I wouldn't give high grades to the breakfast but it was good not to be tempted to overeat,"
