"All the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was limited but okay. I requested a room with a view, but didn’t realize it was 6 floors up—with no elevator! Do I asked for a lower-level room and got one on the third floor. The next night I moved to a lower floor, however, it was very noisy. Good thing I had my ear plugs. The location is fantastic!"

"The Zen Hotel was great. They had a hard time finding my reservation at first but that happens at times. We had 2 rooms during our stay with both being Deluxe Studios with 1 King Bed with sofa bed. "The Friends Hotel and Rooftop was everything we love about a hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until the day we departed. Each morning, a delicious, and ever changing, breakfast exceeded our expectations. We took a smaller room on an upper floor that had a view of the Panecillo and the location was convenient for walking throughout the Centro Histórico. Our first choice on any visit to Quito."

"Clean and conveniently located family hotel for a few days in Quito. Four of use fit in one room, and its private patio was nice. The water was hot and the included breakfast was reliable. There was street noise, but it was worth it to be just a few blocks from the main plaza. "
