"My husband and I stayed at Hotel Mango the evening of April 22 after having flown into the San Jose airport at a late hour. We chose the hotel because it is very close to the airport and car rental agencies. We took a taxi from the airport, arriving at around 10 pm. Given the late hour, the hotel restaurant was closed, but there are a few restaurants in the area within walking distance. We found the check-in efficient, the hotel to be clean and comfortable and our breakfast the next morning to be very good. Can you hear the planes? Yes. This did not bother us; the occasional times the sound was loud, we just waited until the sound subsided. This was while outside. Inside, we had been able to sleep soundly. We did not have time to take advantage of the pool, but the restaurant and pool area was beautifully landscaped. For what we consider an “airport” hotel, we found Hotel Mango to be reasonably priced and to have a “boho” feel to it. We’d stay there again."

"Absolutely perfect! The facilities are first class, clean and well maintained, but it is the helpful and friendly staff who make it so special. The front desk staff were perfect, and the chef at the free breakfast, Minor, showed us around all the wonderful new fruits, and Tifara helped us arrange a late check out to coincide with our shuttle. We will be coming back! BTW the outdoor gardens are beautiful and worth a walk, tidy landscaping "
