"Hotel staff was kind and efficient, the breakfast was great. We had a group of 11 ppl to visit Machu Picchu and they kindly housed all of us affordable. The hotel rooms seems to have been updated vs the photos on Expedia, which was a nice surprise. No ac/heater but the outside temperature was just right so luckily we didn’t have a need. Our only complaint was that our room look did not actually work. If I locked the deadbolt and you turned the outside handle it unlocked the door which defeated...

"The staff is friendly and helpful, if planning a trip to Machu Pichu is a great location. Walk to bus and train station and to numerous restaurants and shops. The best is that you are in the middle of it all but yet it is tucked away for piece and quiet at night. Best shower, lots of water pressure and hot, apparently a concern at other places. Good breakfast as well which is included. "

"It is what it is with this hotel. Sadly Aguas Calientes does not really offer any options beyond luxury and basic. The hotel does its job for a night, but as with almost all hotels in the area it’s just OK. There is basically 0 sound proofing to either the street or the staircase. A few times we have been woken up by people having loud conversations (past 11PM) on the street or on the stairs."

"Stayed here for 1 nite for our visit to Machu Pichu and it was great value and comfort. Nothing fancy, but walking distance from the train station and plenty of eateries/stores. They even went to the train station to walk us back to the hotel upon our arrival, so that was super nice after a long trek to MP. (Need to coordinate this service.) The breakfast was nothing to note, but it will do for an early jump up to Machu Pichu. Overall a great value and clean/comfy place. Highly Recommend! "

"The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, guiding us through the whole Machu Picchu process. Ariana picked us up at the train station, walked us to get bus tickets, waiting in the Machu Picchu bus line with us, and even contracted a great guide for us. Just be aware that the hotel is up a few steep steps, nothing that you wouldn’t have to deal with at the archaeological site anyway though. The rooms were very clean, the beds were big, and the view of the town was nice as well. Finally,...

"This is a small hotel 5 minutes walk to the Inka Rail and Peru Rail train station and 5 minutes to the Machu Picchu bus pickup spot. The hotel is not a three star but worth the $84/night considering that we only had to spend one night. Good value for the money. They set up a nice free BF at 5:30 am for those trying to catch a bus for 7:00 am - 8:00 am slot at Machu Picchu. I would like to recommend an early morning slot for Machu Picchu so you can see it in the cool morning time. We went on...
