"My 2nd stay & apart from the noise which you can’t get away from these days, this place is an excellent stop £45 for B&B you can’t beat it. I used the restaurant & the meal was ok but I wouldn’t have it again (cheese onion pie real chips & peas). Make sure you ask for a room on the main level. "

"Friendly staff all round especially the Receptionist.who checked us in (sorry-- I have forgotten her name) Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Dinner was excellent although menu was a little restricted. A few healthier choices involving Salad would have been welcome. Breakfast exceeded expectations as we thought the buffet would be more like a continental breakfast but in fact included bacon,scrambled eggs,sausage,tomato and hash browns. Well done!!"

"Arrived 11.30pm ,was greeted by the night manager very professional and courteous,no problem checking in ,the room was great large and spacious,the facilities are great in the room ,in the morning I experienced the best shower I have ever had in a hotel ,the water was perfect . I look forward to staying at the Bolholt again in the future ."

"After a start several years ago, i said I'd never return as the hotel was dated, uncomfortable and cold. Now it's the opposite. It's been refurbished ana much nicer than it was and would be happy to return Welcome still needs a bit of tweaking as could be better but overall much improved "

"Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately very short due to time of arrival however made us wanting more so we will be rebooking. Freshly revamped smelling of newness, lake views and ample parking but not informed that spa facilities were not open until JULY 24"

"I have stayed here multiple times and every time it exceeds my expectations! It has a beautiful rustic decor and maintains the charm of the original building, it’s a really quirky place to stay! The only thing I will say is that I’m not a fan of paying to park however, the hotel is definitely reasonably priced for the standard of room! I look forward to staying again many more times in the future"
