"The Lakefront Anchorage is situated conveniently close to the airport and downtown Anchorage. The hotel has lots of old world charm with modern amenities. The thing that surprised me the most was that the hotel is huge, like really big. I'm pretty sure that the walk from the registration counter to our room was a 1/4 mile. The staff were friendly but understaffed for the number of customers this hotel serves. Would I stay here again, maybe, maybe not."

"After reading some of the reviews we didn't know what to expect. Our room looked like it had undergone a recent renovation. All aspects of the room seemed to be in working order. We enjoyed our upper floor view from the small private balcony. Would stay here again"

"All was great except that someone was able to open our door (without knocking first), a quick sorry and left, while we were in the room about 40 minutes after our check-in. The front desk, Tyler, had no idea how that could happen (whether it was a staff or a guest) but made a note for the management. The manager next morning, Amber, gave the answer that it was a guest who was given the wrong room/key but assured us that our room was safe and no one else had the keys to our room. I wasn't...

"The lodge is just as seen in the pics. The deck facing the mountains is just brilliant and the views of the river are amazing. There is a short trail down to the river is beautiful and I spotted a couple of Rabbits on the way. I would love to visit again"
