"I have mixed feelings, but the end result was fine. The first room I was assigned I did not like at all. It was like a cell. The door was difficult to open. Since I am a woman traveling alone, my room had a street level entrance and wasn’t in the main building. I didn't feel safe. I went to the reception desk and asked for a room in the main building. After a reasonable upgrade fee I moved to the room I slept in and was completely satisfied. Very nice indeed. "

"The property is in a great location with proximity to Denali National Park. The amenities are good and have nice walking trails. Restaurants choices around the area are limited to none. But there are 3 restaurants on premises."

"I was looking for a no frills place to sleep before traveling early the next day. The place is as advertised. Shared bathrooms but not a big deal. It’s all well kept and clean. Staff is excellent and super friendly. The area of town is a bit sketchy but the property is very secure. The manager turned out to be someone I knew from my USCG days in AK so that was a nice surprise. Would stay there again and recommend it! "
