"The location of the hotel is excellent just steps from the beach in Lapad. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and knowledgeable. On September 22, 2023, which was our first night, the front desk clerk, for which we can’t remember her name, was exceptional and went out of her way to help us. "I had one more night in Split after my week of sailing around the Croatian islands. This is a charming boutique hotel in the heart of the Palace. Be prepared for a 1/4 mile walk or so rolling your luggage as cars are not allowed in the city center. And be sure to wear ‘proper shoes’ as the steps up to the hotel are centuries old and polished slick! Very clean, very nice and comfortable. Also be prepared for a lot of noise until the sidewalk cafes and bars close at midnight. "
