"Staff were very professional, friendly & accommodating. We were staying here overnight to go to LEGOLAND the next day for our twins birthday. Our van wouldn’t fit in the underground parking so they arranged for us to have a slot outside the hotel which they reserved for us and we paid for on arrival. They put cards, biscuits and balloons for our twins as they knew it was their birthday which was very kind of them. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and kind. It was a ver short walk to Windsor castle and the shops & restaurants. Breakfast was self service buffet plenty of food and was top up continuously, but as per many self service style it’s not mega hit. They had a great little pancake maker machine which the kids loved though. "

"Perfectly adequate for our needs. We especially needed to be able to prepare a few of our meals. The kitchenette arrangement was perfect for that. Our beds were comfortable. The en-suite was adequate. We asked for a room clean as we had to extend our stay. This was forgotten but was completed the following day. Reception staff were helpful. Parking was easy. The hospital and university are close by. This was refurbished student study accommodation and provided a self contained economic option for us. "

"Where do I start The property was described as a studio. It stated that everyone in my party would be undestrurbed in the accomodation. This is untrue and breaches the trades description legislation The property has a shared kitchen with no privacy in it. The only TV is in the kitchen and so relaxing at the end of the day before bed by watching TV was not really possible My food had to be stored insecurely The access to the room I booked was up very steep steps with a low ceiling This was also not known before booking Whilst the access is ok for a residential property it almost certainly does not meet the legislative requirements for a shared room let (multiple occupation). I banged my head several times In the case of a fire, escape would be severely restricted. There was no fire escape plans or smoke alarms on the top floor, breaching further legislation Parking nearby was impossible The low height in the shower also made me bang my head On arrival, it was almost impossible to get the key because the alley is too dark. A light sensor is required not a timer. The room was not ready with dirty sheets and towels There were no internet instructions and as a result I missed an important meeting as I got them too late The phone number provided was incorrect The shower overflows creating effectively a pond that I had to mop up every morning The owner rudely suggested I cancel the booking and go to the Travel Lodge saying I got a good deal"
