"We were met on arrival at reception which was quick, easy and very friendly and were shown and told everything we needed to know. As mentioned in other reviews, the decor of the rooms is slightly older style but the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower and bathroom were fine. There was a pool and free buffet breakfast which added to the comfort and enjoyment. The hotel is also a short distance to the waterfront, bars, restaurants and ferries and a nice walk around to the beach."

"We read the reviews of this being a tired hotel and needing attention before booking and decided to take a gamble. We were very pleasantly surprised! It is not the Ritz, but it extremely adequate for a one night stay. The room was spacious and clean, reception inviting and staff friendly. "The hotel is very old, dirty and outdated. The room and bathroom are small and old. They also turn the hot water off around 11:30pm until a little after 7am. Food and drinks that came included is ok and not that great but if you enjoy cheap food and drinks, it will be fine for you. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was the only plus."

"It was not hard to find but was down a somewhat deserted road a couple of blocks so felt slightly uncomfortable walking from the port. Lovely property! Small suggestion - add table lights to he roof top patio. Enjoyed our stay!"

"We LOVED this place! Clean, simple, two beds (no pullout couch crap). Front doors open wide to the patio. Inside doors are glass. Outsides are open louvers. We opened up everything and slept with the wind blowing right through the place. It’s so safe. Parking is available and EASY. The hostess was fantastic. Grandma keeps everything spotless.
