"As always Hotel Z does it. Loved the lobby, the walk to the mudflats, the sauna, the driftwood car. Great room. Only issue the handheld shower had absolutely no pressure to it. The rain shower dead was ok"

"Pros: The location is excellent. It's a short walk down to a stunning beach that feels almost private and a short drive into Ucluelet. Parking is easy and close. Cons: We stayed in the "Rainforest Cabins" and the first thing we noticed was that there are no doors to the bedrooms. You can hear anything and everything. Also, the stairs to each of the three levels are so steep and slippery that we had several near accidents. The stairs/no-doors design is clearly done for aesthetic rather than...

"It is literally a 5 minute walk to Chestermans beach which is amazing. The cabin was warm and inviting, the kitchen was well stocked and they even included an emergency bag if needed. Great host, very personable. The cabin is just inches from the main house so if complete privacy is what you’re after this may not offer as much privacy as some need. For our family though it was wonderful, the loft bed in the hidden little nook was really cool. Very nice place"
