"Would never stay here again, initially booked this because they said they had onsite parking but they failed to mention not is 20 GBP per night. Parked in town to save money. After we checked in tried to book a time at their restaurant only to find on their webpage a note saying that they are not serving dinner in 2026???.
TV stopped working 10 mins after we got our room, notified the front desk they did absolutely nothing.
At 8;00am the cleaning staff opened our door to clean the room even...
"Parking was good. Didnt mind paying 6 pounds. Meals were very nice. I slept on the couch and it was fairly comfortable. We are canadians so we're used to cups in the bathroom for doing our teeth. And also kleenex. We were also in a premier inn in Sterling and yours is SO much better. Cleaner, decorated nicely. Staff pleasant and helpful."
"Nice room with a good view — had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The restaurant and bar were great, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout."
"The view from room 12 was amazing and the hotel is well situated on certain nights you can eat from the buffet as well as the a la carte menu alcohol pretty expensive some areas could to with a refresh"
"This was the most enjoyable stay of my time in Scotland. The staff the facilities everything was excellent. Loved the gardens and the grounds, especially the alpacas and the peacocks."
"The room was inexpensive so I didn't expect a lot. The room was larger than I expected but there were some maintenance issues. There was no hot water in the room so I had to go to a different room down the hall to take a shower that had an electric water heater. The light over the sink in the bathroom didn't work but there was an electric kettle with tea and coffee available. Nice people in a very old building"
"Lovely location convenient to the ferry terminal and town centre. The host Caroline was very friendly and welcoming. Little extras left in the fridge were an added bonus and much appreciated."
"Ardfern is a very pretty village and a great springboard to explore Argyll.
The decor is dark but there are tables outside and a great view of the loch from the picnic benches out back.
The bar area has a great feel and a regular stream of sailors from the local marina"
"The property was beautifully updated. The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have the common kitchen and lounge area with space for each room in the fridge. The only thing was we couldn’t figure out the shower. The property was within walking distance of town center."
"Located between Craignure and Fionnphort on the Isle of Mull. Situated by the road looking onto the sea. The Inn is a popular place to eat as the restaurant was busy. The owner showed us our room which was large, clean, tidy and warm. The super king sized bed was comfortable, shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The room was quiet even though the restaurant was busy. The breakfast is self service, £10 per person, and it does take a while to find where everything is but once sorted it is...
"Lovely views of Loch Awe. The driver wasn’t so happy about the long single track road but the other two enjoyed the solitude and quiet at the end of the road. Rooms are comfortable and all different."
