The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. Didn’t complain about the smell in the room as unable to make ourselves understood."

The following morning reception called us to offer us advice on the surrounding area as we did not have any time during a normal check in process. I thought that this was a very nice touch. Our room, in an annexe across the street, was large and spacious with very comfortable...

"The room and hotel were surprisingly sleek and really well designed - nice to have air-conditioning and a balcony! On a street a block away from the main walkable part of town and a lovely river walk. One small complaint - no Kleenexes in the room! A problem with for someone with bad allergies."

It’s important to know that the church clock across the road does ring out every quarter hour and the hour on the hour. Found the breakfast to be basic but good with some excellent bread and rolls. "The hotel is cozy and very pet friendly. The decor feels like a old German home. Bed was comfy and room was clean. My favorite part of the hotel was the restaurant downstairs. I have a pork and noodles which was AMAZING! My dog was even able to hang in the restaurant. Morning breakfast was very good. "
