Waking up each morning was a delight, serenaded by the enchanting songs of the Koo Koo owl, complemented by the gentle sounds of church bells ringing in the distance. The hotel itself is immaculately clean, with a lovely Dalit turning bed that provided a cozy atmosphere. The memory foam pillows and mattress were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious, setting us up perfectly for the day. The air conditioning worked wonders, keeping the space cool and comfortable, and having an elevator was a huge plus when traveling with heavy luggage. The family that runs this hotel treats you like their own, showcasing kindness and authenticity that made our stay even more special. One of the highlights was the chance to witness their own winery operations—if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of wine-making firsthand! Additionally, the hotel serves as a beautiful wedding venue; we were fortunate enough to see a stunning wedding taking place during our checkout. "Hotel Pura Vida was a beautiful hotel nestled into a beautiful village in the middle of La Rioja. The staff were super friendly and lovely towards our 7 month old son. There is a garden out the back with lovely dappled sunlight and views over the village. We would definitely stay here again, if we ever return to the area. Thanks so much for a lovely stay."
