"Hotel Vischi was amazing - we have been traveling in Italy for 2.5 weeks and spent our last 2 nights here. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing also. We loved the area as it is quieter than the south of the lake but has plenty of walks and areas to bike ride. The ferry pickup is a short walk away. There is also ample free parking at the hotel. "The property was fantastic. The staff were fantastic. Working really hard and provided a great stay at basically the only place open on the mountain. But it didn't feel like anything was lacking. "This hotel was nice, nestled at the top of Lake Como and at the bottom of a mountain! Be mindful, it’s still quite the uphill trek from the main road if you don’t have a car! Train is about a 15 min walk. There is only 2 restaurants in town, one in the hotel, so you’re at their mercy! The room is good but the views! That’s why you’re there, can’t beat them! Enjoy!"

The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. But we tried to get some information from the owner/manager on our first night and it turned into a fiasco. The manager got angry with me for asking simple questions.
