"This hotel was better than expected. The rooms are clean, comfortable and even pool view room allows you to see a bit of the sea. It is a 3 stars, but had a small safe (no fee) and the toiletries are the quality of 4 stars. This place is the real Galicia, very few tourists from outside Spain (except Portugal) and it feels like the real northern Spain. The food was very good and the breakfast excellent. "What a gem of a hotel! Excellent location, right on the beach. Lovely sea views from the room. Excellent breakfast, although coffee machine not great, yet there is a decent barista coffee machine in the bar. It was low season when we were there in mid-May, so only a few guests. Loads of sun loungers by the pool and the hotel does not tolerate the classic German habit of “bagging” sun loungers. Food at dinner was OK, nothing special, but there is a 3-course menu at €24, which is OK. If you want...

"Our GPS was not able to find Torre Vella! However, having rang the owners and being able to speak Spanish, we were given perfect instructions to find the location. Very friendly, helpful, amicable young couple. We travelled with our dog, who was very well received. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had an en-suite shower room.
