"The building was of a good standard but the hotel lacked the friendly approach to their guests. On arrival at 16.30 we found the door locked and had to wait for it to be opened. The hotel listed a restaurant but no evening meal was available. There was no information on times of breakfast or restaurants nearby. Although the hotel is in a beautiful location the hotel totally lacked character. "

"A group of five of us had a 3 bed apartment. It was really nice. We were on motorbikes. We were able to park right next to the entrance. Owner is a biker and very knowledgeable on local riding routes. Lovely breakfast too. Only drawback is it’s a few miles from Bouillon, so needed to ride into town for food. "

The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays to give the help the day off but they still had a limited menu for the guests. They offered steak, local trout, and quiche. These were all very good. All in all, this is a gem off the beaten path. "
