"I would recommend staying somewhere else. Bugs everywhere in the room, especially when it was night. I stayed in room 10 which sits in the sun all day. There are no blackout curtains for all the windows so the room gets very warm. The water from the sink tasted like dirt. But worst of all, The husband that runs the motel is a rude and impatient human being. Stay somewhere else."

The website says check in available till 9 pm but I had received 3 voice messages at approx 5.30 pm to ask what time I was arriving. The access to my accommodation was through lawn with no designed driveway access. There was no working Tv and a rude sign saying that was because guests had caused the problem While the sheets...

"I was well cared for at the House with No Nails! The property is beautiful & clean, & in a gorgeous rural setting set amidst mountains, big blue skies, & farm animals. The house is an easy 25 minute drive from the Hobbiton set in Matamata, which was my plan while in this area of NZ. Highly recommended!"
