"This is a lovely place to stay, very peaceful and quiet and close to Barnard Castle. The staff are friendly and the service was excellent. The rooms are as good as they look on the photos. Good WiFi and place to catch up on work near the bar area. I see it is a Wedding venue too, I’d say it’s a great place for a party. "

"Brilliant place for a short stay, we stayed 1 night and it was lovely the room was very clean and tidy the bed was comfortable there are no draws for clothes but for a short stay it didnt matter. Breakfast was included there was a selection of cereal, toast and cooked breakfast to order which was very nice. "In the centre of Masham so easy to walk around the town and just a short walk from Black Sheep Brewery Visitor Centre. Great base for touring dales. Relaxed atmosphere and very dog friendly."

"Fabulous spot in the heart of Askrigg. Great bar and food, especially breakfast. Only tiny negative, the tv is about the size of a PC monitor and reception on anything other than BBC is non existent. That said, you don’t go to watch TV. Everything else is great. "
