The location is spot on and there is tons to do around the area with amazing walks and scenery to local markets and nice restaurants and pubs. Jo is a fantastic host and we can't wait to get back there next year. "This was a fantastic cottage with all the mod cons and incredibly clean, lovely beds and towels and biscuits and milk left for us also.We did think there would be a back garden with grass as we had taken our little dog with us but there was'nt. My husband did find a very large field with right of way about 2 mins walk away so little dog loved it so not so much of a problem. "

"Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Stunning views from the rear of the property. Very clean and had every thing we needed for our stay. Pub just a few minutes walk away with good food. Otherwise quite remote but there are shops a short drive away. Perfect location for a countryside retreat."

"Such a wonderful stay. We had a lovely welcome from Jo on arrival. The yurt was just perfect. Beautiful setting and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The food in the evening we ordered was delicious as was the breakfast delivered directly to our yurt. It felt very spoiling. We also enjoyed the two friendly chickens who came to visit. "

"We loved our stay at this house. Our children felt like they were living in a castle and had so much fun pretending to be princesses. There were 6 adults and 4 kids total in our group and this house was the perfect size to accommodate all of us. The scenery was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing and having family dinners at the big table. The owners were very kind as well. Thank you for having us!"

"Great property in a lovely location. Pub within easy walking distance provided tasty food. Plenty to see in the area and beyond. Loads of walking opportunities for all levels."

"What can we say. Entrance mat filthy. Cobwebs everywhere. Dirty handprint on the bathroom wall. Shower riser rusty, shower tiles mouldy. Didn't look like anywhere had been swept or vacuumed. Lack of somewhere to put drinks in the lounge. If there is more than 2 of you you will struggle to sit and eat or sit in the lounge together. Toilet seat very loose, dangerous. Neighbours Alexa plays music all night and alarms start going off from 5am. Management company say sorry but do nothing about it....

"We had a fantastic time at this amazing place. We had lots of people but there are so many places to hang out that it never felt crowded. The quality of bedding ,towels etc was superb. Games room and cinema rooms were well used. Will be back soon ."

"The location and park is beautiful with very nice views of the dales. The accommodation is well equipped, clean and modern. The hot tub was great for relaxing in after a long walk. Owner are very nice and helpful, I would recommend this property and hope to stay again."
