It is not the most completely appointed room you could imagine- for example there are no nightstands which seems an unnecessary cost-saving measure. "Very friendly reception staff on arrival and at breakfast. Room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was continental. Very good choice with fruit, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, bread, pastries and muesli. Very pleasant stay. "

"This hotel needs to be updated. The carpets on the stairs and in the rooms were threadbare. Not all the corridor light switches worked, our loo did not flush initially but my husband fixed it, as he did the showerhead which did not stay in the correct positon ( using the showercap box). There were not enough electric sockets which you need nowadays with phones etc needing charging. The free wifi was fine though. The garden was ok but a few flowers would have made it somewhere you wanted to...

"The room was so small, a good distance from the main hotel and the shower didnt run hot water. Also no convenient parking close by. There was one big positive. The women who served me breakfast was so friendly, helpful and was a credit to the hotel. "

Gardens are really pretty and a convenient location to walk into town for supper. Carpark and electric hookup. Would return. We walked along to coast path to see the pink granite rocks. "
