That in itself, for me, gave it character, and a sense of adventure. The people managing the rooms were also very nice and helpful! "Great little hotel a short walk from the private ferry port on Xiaoliuqiu. Staff didn't speak very much english, but they were very kind and helpful. Parking is easy. Wifi was no great in our room, but useable. Really nice shower and everything was super clean. There is also a really nice rooftop terrace with a view of the coast of the big island and a pretty good view of the stars too! "

"Xiao liu qiu is a beautiful island with lovely beaches and views. This hotel is very clean and quietly located some distance away from the harbour area. Accommodation here is excellent! The owners are a lovely couple who came to pick me up at the harbour and also they got their sister/sister-in-law to give me a ride back to the harbour when i left the next day. Highly recommended!"
