"I thought the room was very well-designed and comfortable. My only comment re the room would be some information pamphlets. I thought the food was very ordinary. I ordered grilled fish, and obviously, the grill hadn't been wiped clean, as it tasted of meat. The second attempt was better but bland. Brilliant that they were very reliable at front desk and woke me up in time for very uncivilised flying time. Porters and bar staff were were efficient and friendly. "

"This was the second time I've stayed at this hotel, (I travel for work) and the service here is fantastic. The staff are super helpful, the location feels safe to me and I often go out for takeaway nearby. I'll single out Khaled and Dina from the restaurant for making my stay a pleasure. I did have an issue with a cold shower on my final night, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay overall. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Cairo! "

"This is a large compound just a short drive to the pyramids. It is very safe and secure and has a feel as a retreat. It would be good for groups, workshops, teams or large families. The pool is nice. Area and rooms have a lot of mosquitoes. Breakfast buffet is mediocre and evening buffet is expensive. Room service meals are reasonable. Room needs more outlets or extension cords. I had to move TV to plug in laptop. Really stingy on coffee. I got 1 coffee, 1 tea bag, and at least 15 sugars....

"The hotel was lovely and staff very friendly. Not much option to walk anywhere from the hotel due to main roads across to the Pyramids and limited facilities around the hotel. The food in the hotel main restaurant is only a buffet style which wasn’t great. "

"Great location. It is located just beside the entrance of Giza Pyramid. Clean rooms, from my room balcony can view the pyramids, have roof top restaurant, walk-able to convenience store and fast food restaurant, the staffs was helpful, and value for money."

"Royal Day Plaza employees try their best to provide you with service. The hotel is 10 minutes away from 2 shopping centers. Breakfast is ok compared to other hotels and including to room price"

"The location is excellent especially with its close connection to city stars mall; however, the entrance is little tricky and uber's drover wasn't able to find it. The room was excellent but the floor was dirty when we got it. I think they forget to vacum on this day. Overall, im happy with our stay."

"This place was an absolute dump. They should be charging $5 usd or less. We arrived to the hotel and were soon brought to a neighboring property a block away. Conditions were gross. We just needed a place to put our bags but this place did not feel safe or secure. There was mold everywhere…."

"Postives - The hotel room was a good size - The staff were really friendly and helpful - Cleanliness to a good standard - Hotel is located near to the airport (15 mins drive) which is helpful - Internet / Wifi was included and reasonably fast - Complimentary drinking water, appreciated. Negatives - Not a lot really, in terms of western standards this is probably a high 3 star hotel with reasonable levels of cleanliness. - It's fairly basic but comfortable."
