"This hotel is behind a gate with armed guards. You can’t go outside because there’s no place to go. The pool area was off limits. Only place you could go to was lobby - which was stark and simply had seatings. Breakfast was alright if you like seine cold fried egg and mystery meat. Airport shuttle was provided by 3 young guys who were all drinking beer as they drove me to hotel. While hotel staff quite friendly - the property was dirty and carpet had stains throughout. "The hotel is very clean, quiet and safe. The hotel is close to the airport. I needed to go back to the city and the commute back to the city takes time since this area where the hotel is located is a bit away from the city. If you have your own transportation arrangements, this should be okay."

"This was the best hotel we stayed at in our month long trip in Madagascar. We were either jet lagged, or about to travel whenever we were in Tana and this hotel was comfortable and easy. It is at the top of the hill with a nice view and a rooftop bar. There are a few bars and restaurants in walking distance as well. Their prices are a bit high, so we walked next door for breakfast and went out for dinner. But wow, to have a nice shower and wifi is incredible."

"Beautiful hotel with lovely views! Large and very comfortable beds and large rooms. Definitely the best hotel in Tana!! Breakfast was plentiful!! Just a note, this was our 3rd hotel we stayed in Tana, prices for beer/drinks and dinners were quite a bit more than other hotels. "
