"Staff were very helpful and hotel is beautiful. Rooms were spacious and clean. The property had free bikes to explore the town and a free shuttle (that must be booked as they only have one shuttle). Location is quiet and can be easily reached by taking Bus 1 from Locarno. "

"The absolute WORST stay I've had in years of traveling! The apartment is right above a bar where they play loud music with heavy beat every evening. On one evening the loud beat was so unbearable that we had to go downstairs and ask them to lower the volume, which they did a bit. At 11 pm we went to bed hoping that the music will stop soon, but the people in the bar turned the volume all the way up again. We called the police and asked if they can do anything. "Close to the lake, the area is pleasant, clean and we felt quite safe. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and well laid out. The apartment is next to rail station but the noise from trains was minimal and not noticeable. It was fairly small but bright, ideal for a couple. "The old town area doesn't disappoint: beautiful historical buildings, narrow cobblestone roads with boutiques and local restaurants to explore. Caffe del Arte is so close to all, walkability score is high: town square, churches and waterfront trail. The Zebra Room is nicely appointed: great firm bed, dining table and great storage space. I loved the shower power! Do use the Ticino transit card for discounts - we forgot. Next time!"
