Simplemente hermoso,! Lugar mágico!

Hotel precioso y tranquilo en un entorno fantástico. Restaurante espectacular. Personal muy amable. Algunos servicios podrían mejorar.

Very beautiful although somewhat stark resort and VERY remote. For me the best part was the view and the pool area. Staff did not advise us of all dining options. We made a reservation for lunch and were the only ones there 🙄. Same menu as dinner. Could have ordered sandwich from room service or eat at bar. But overall a very relaxing experience.

We stayed at the Quinta S. Bernardo in late September and we can’t say enough about this property! The property is just beautiful with a stunning view of the Douro River and surrounded by the vineyards. The Quinta is family owned and lovingly and beautifully designed and decorated. All our meals were straight from the farm, from the breakfast to the lunches to the exquisite dinners made by the chef, everything was incredibly fresh. But what makes this property even more special is the utmost...

We had a fantastic stay. It was low season and the owners treated us like family. The food was great, the room was nice though so be aware the open concept means the shower and toilet are basically in the same room.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Quinta São José do Barrilário in the Douro Valley! The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by vineyards with breathtaking views of the valley. The peaceful atmosphere, lovely accommodations, and stunning scenery made our stay feel truly special. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Portugal’s wine country. A memorable experience and a place we would love to return to!

A beautifully built property with the decoration of a fine home. Beautiful antiques, great sitting areas, first class breakfast. A great stop.

It is absolutely beautiful!!

Driving up the long, winding, cobblestone driveway, I was sure I had made a mistake and turned into a private residence. From the meticulously manicured gardens to the overall clean and fresh feeling I had when I got out of my car and was inside the small lobby, attention to detail and superb customer service are the calling cards of this friendly hotel. It is quiet here, and often I had the feeling I was the only person in the hotel. My room was very large and comfortable and the complimentary...

Was not able to check in

We stayed in this place for 4 nights and had an experience of a lifetime. Staff were just absolutely respectful, professional and accommodating of our needs anytime. The food is like an other hotel where selections are limited. However, we would still rate their food with 4 stars. They have a complete facility of pool indoor and outdoor, spa, and gym with a big wine cellar and a scenic landscape wherever you look. This place is to return to if you wish to retreat the elegant way in the heart of...

We very much enjoyed our one night stay. Clean bedroom and bath. The building is of historic design. The exterior and interior walls are of large granite blocks. The hotel is located in the country site, it is quiet and has a very helpful and accommodating staff. We would like to go back for a longer stay.

This property is not only historic but recently updated to freshen it up. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the views cannot be beat. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wine-centered place to stay in Lamego!

This is a nice boutique hotel in the center city of Lamaga. The room was large, clean, nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't avail ourselves of the spa tub in the room but it is certainly a nice feature. The rooftop pool is inviting and there is an adjacent bar/lounge area. The restaurant features a varied menu and the food was tasty and well prepared. The morning breakfast buffet was generous and nicely presented. The hotel does not have a parking garage but there was...

The place was really quiet and the view was stunning. The breakfast was really good as well with most food being locally sourced. The Panoramic Villa was nice, there was a bit of a misunderstanding at first when the host showed us the Villa but was resolved afterwards. Also the shower seemed to be stucked to really hot temperature but adding a little force to the other side of the fosset did fix it to more reasonable temperatures.
