"It may advertise that it is more than a conference hotel, but it was built to be a conference hotel. The facility is very nice, covered parking, nestled on a hilltop, and well maintained. However, the dining option is a buffet and seating is cafeteria style on long tables. That is great if it is a conference but if you are traveling by yourself, it leave a lot to be desired. Other than the dining situation, it is not a bad big hotel. "

They billed me before arrival for authorization, then billed me again at arrival for authorization, and then finally when checking out, billed me once more. This created a lot of confusion and worry for me that I would actually be charged twice or three times for the stay. "Staff was very friendly, and room was spacious and had great AC and a small balcony to sit at and enjoy the fresh air in the evening. Breakfast was a you would expect in Germany: cold cuts, some bacon and scrambled eggs, cereals and choice of 6 yogurts. It's a bit outside the city of Heidelberg, but if a fridge and AC and modern convenience for a great price is important to you, this is the place! "
